My recent stay at Au Bois Dormant was a delightful escape wrapped in warm hospitality. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink that set the tone for our stay, while the charming rooms boasted clean and cozy interiors overlooking a picturesque garden. The seasonal outdoor pool provided a much-appreciated retreat after a day of exploring, perfect for unwinding with friends or loved ones. Breakfast was a standout, with a lovely continental spread served daily — a true highlight was the homemade conserves that paired beautifully with fresh pancakes. Cyril, our fantastic host, ensured we felt at home and even assisted in making dinner reservations at a nearby restaurant, which turned out to be an amazing culinary experience. For those with a spirit of adventure, the surrounding area offers recreational opportunities like the stunning Hesdin Forest, enhancing your stay. Despite minor improvements needed in service details, Au Bois Dormant is an exceptional destination for a tranquil retreat, promising comfort and a taste of authentic local charm.
